JAM's Program Philosophy
At J.A.M. we partner with parents to develop the whole child. You will see this in each classroom in the following ways:
You will find certified teachers and qualified staff at J.A.M. using every available means to provide your child the best opportunities for a quality Christian preschool education.
Our childcare staff strives to provide an environment of mutual respect and support conducive to learning while assisting each child in developing to his fullest potential.
Our staff endeavors to provide safe and healthful care of our children and to strengthen family life by providing care that promotes the development of the whole child.

Our educational environment is enhanced when the Word of God is used as a basis on which to develop and give meaning to the educational process.
We present knowledge and skills at the child’s developmental level and aid in drawing out natural abilities, refining skills and assisting in exploring ideas.
Children’s natural curiosity and desire to make sense of the world will be acknowledged to initiate activities.

We utilize the PA state learning standards and The Highscope Curriculum as a framework for our instructional activities. The Highscope Curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate practice which simply means teaching in ways that match the way children develop and learn.
