Toddler Classroom
Our toddler room is for up to 12 younger toddlers and older toddlers from 18 months to three years old. The teachers guide the toddlers through activities that help them develop in areas such as self-help, cognitive, motor skills and language. Children engage in free play giving them choices of many activities. Teachers interact with them and enhance each choice with language, problem solving and other skill development. Children are able to play in a safe outdoor environment as well as indoors. This is a wonderful social time for young children as they grow into preschool.
The Toddler room meets the standards set by the ITERS: Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale. Teachers are in a continual state of assessing the environment and making improvements.
